I've had German Shepherds all my married life, getting my first puppy from my husband Bill on my 18th Birthday.
I started off in obedience and then later turned to showing.
Having been quite successful with Rafaye Rebecca ( Xena) and winning all the shows that we entered in 2001 I decided to have a litter with her. I kept Rommi from that first litter and although she did well in Open Shows she was falling short in Champion Shows
I decided that I would like to try something completely different with her, and so began attending South Cheshire about a year ago. My aim was to complete the BH, which we achieved earlier this year, and so developed the Schutzhund Bug! We enjoy it so much and I only wish we had discovered it years ago.
We make lots of mistakes still and know our limitations but I am glad that I have found South Cheshire and all our new friends. They say I make a great cup of tea, maybe thats why they call me Teapot!
